Okay...
I rock.
On Thursday, the teens or the teen advisory board for the library performed what is called Readers' theater. It's a fancy way of saying that they acted out a story. In this case, it was two picture books- one Curious George story and one Amelia Bedelia story. They hadn't rehearsed much if at all...but we made props, and they were properly outfitted and it was a success. All of the little munchkins were happy. Who knows if the powers that be will take notice but the kidlets had a great time and the teens were pretty, pretty, proud of themselves.
Yay!
I spent yesterday with Nina- if you recall...she's the sister I met back in 2005. I took her a bassinet because she is due to eject a wee baby girl in a week or so. I'm jealous but not that jealous. Nina's "man" was there and I just can't believe he's the dad. I suppose it's not my "bidness"
On another note- I cannot wait to get through today...then I will have TWO days off- in a row!!!
