See, now that's funny, because someone I spoke to said that shinigami work for her sister, who happens to be Death. Would you be that kind of shinigami?

That's kind of deep. I wouldn't know of any Death personified. Shinigami have a sort of bureaucracy in which we perform tasks that need to be taken care of, but if we work for anyone, it is our Soutaichou, a shinigami that leads the rest of us.

Protect spirits on their way to Soul Society, and either purify or destroy Hollows (which are corrupted spirits) so that they don't harm humans or good spirits.
