I <3 LA.... I <3 it!
So LA wasn't exactly how I imagined it. Sucks to idealize, sucks to have expectations and them not materialize. I was hoping I could be myself and be a chatter box and shoot the shit with S, but that just wasn't the case. I had a bad case of Cat got your tongue. Instead of talking like good ol' times when she and I first met, I was thinking to myself what should i say? OMG I lost my mojo, or really I need to get over her so I can have a fantastic friendship with this girl who's pretty darn cool.
But other than being a mute this weekend, I did hit up the LA Auto Show, got some good japanese curry, a nice t-shirt to add to my new wardrobe from Giant Robot, Knitting factory to hear Kennedy, Yes Dear, and The Thermals.... and overall a new found appreciation for LA....it's not all that superficial.....
