Testing, 1, 2, 3...

Yay! First post! Okay, this is just a test to see how this looks...we'll see if I keep this look for the journal...anyways, a little preview about what this is going to be about:

*clears throat*

Ever since I was little I've always liked reading. It was really hard for me at first. All my friends were inhaling books as if they were just another breath of air while I stumbled through small little phrases blindly, pronouncing them as best I could without a clue as to what they meant. I was determined, however, to be the very best reader, and eventually I did. As a fourth grader I had finished Montgomery's "Anne" series within a year and a half, and that was only the beginning.

Lately, however, I've found fewer and fewer books that can keep my interest, and with school I've had even less time to enjoy those few books. So to "get away from it all", as some people call it, I've taken up writing. It's nothing much, just a few short stories for friends and story lines that pop into my head from time to time.

This journal has been created so that I can post some of these plots to see what people think of them, if they're any good or not. I won't copy write any of the material. As it's being posted on the web I don't expect it to NOT be copied and used for other purposes. If someone does use what I write I'll take it as a HUGE compliment and if some desperate Hollywood guy takes an idea or two and I see it the next time I flip the channel I won't complain (though I HIGHLY doubt that will EVER happen). So, here it goes. My journal.

(Wow. Could I sound any more pathetic?)

pathetic, junk, desperate, plots, amateur, writer, writing, story lines, reading
