(no subject)
so i think something is jacked up w/ my lj.. at least i can't see private entries at all of other ppl, but if i go to their homepage i can... no idea. oh well.
well, something happened with the car, but not the horrible thing that i hoped woudlnt' happen. i just have to take two days off work (speaking of i should call them) and miss spanish on monday. cuz there was a BIG mis-communication between mom and bruce (the guy who has the car)mom thought we were getting the car on friday, adn bruce really didn't cuz he and his kids went to go play baseball in kentucky or south carolina. one of the two. but i did get to test drive it, its a ford ESCORT, not a ford focus, my bad, which means more leg room. i really like it tho. we weren't overly excited that it was a ford, but oh well.
so we accomplished nothing other than getting my loan signed. then we almost hit a cow that was in the middle of the road when we were leaving my house, so being teh good neighbors we are, we decided to chase it back into the pasture. mind you i don't exactly have a degree in cow-herding, so things weren't going all that well. then, two cars come zooming over the top of the hill, and the cow takes off TOWARDS the road. the second car hit it, and the cow managed to take off teh side-veiw mirror. and then the car proceeded to drive off. the cow held up his leg like he was hurt, but when i walked toward him, he took off over the hill and into another pasture, but at least he was off the road.
so me and mom called allison, cuz they were his cows, and told him that the cow got hit and gave him the license and make of the car. gah. i was shaking so bad that by the time we got to the house in town it was kind of hard for me to stand up. mind you i thought i was about to witness a big gorey mess when that cow took off toward the road.
other than that, nothing overly exciting has happened. leah went for her space camp training today w/ mom, adn i'm spending teh day at the hyperbaric therapy center learnign the tricks of the trade. been here since 8:30, prolly won't leave until 7 or 8. but kim trusts me enough with her buisness that she went to go get her hair cut and left me with Zadi in the chamber. so yay! i'm happy that she trusts me that much. they must think i have WAAAAAY more responsibility since i left for college. go me.
