Group of Seven
I am in disbelief right now.
Yesterday the student body voted to impeach the "group of Seven" from the Student Society (of 730 people that showed up only 6 voted no). Now those same seven people have hired a ridiculously expensive lawyer and won't leave office. Yes, that money comes out of our pockets! Today the student body is so totally pissed off that they physically joined up and attempted to remove the "Group of Seven" by passive force (i.e. overcrowding their office and bitching them out). This situation has been escalating over the last months and I'm starting to think things might get physical. I mean, this group is in SFU because they want to go into politics. Obviously being impeached is ruining their future careers. Thankfully they are being caught now before royally screwing up politics in BC/Canada any further. I do believe it's in the best interest of everyone, not simply SFU students to have this "Group of Seven" held accountable for their actions.
