Mark and I took a drive up to Philadelphia to Art Star Gallery to see Mr. Kurt Halsey and some of his new work. He was incredibly gracious and took the time to chat with people individually, sign autographs and pose for pictures . When it was our turn to chat with him, I asked him a few questions regarding his current work and we talked about cats (he also has a grey gentleman feline) and trees in D.C. and while we talked he sketched that sweet, little cat you see above.
His work may not be for everyone, but it's pretty great to see someone who's putting himself out there and doing something he's completely passionate about and taking a risk to pursue his bliss as a career.
