why

How often does this happen? How many other people are experiencing the shock and grief of losing someone, especially someone so young? they have those stats, you know, that a baby is born every five seconds and someone dies every ten or something like that.. it was just Kavya's ten seconds, she just joined the circle of life, became something small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.. God that's so depressing. I'm worried about facebook. I hope they don't just delete memories like that due to non-use. but what else happens, they can't just keep un-used profiles around it's dead weight to them (pardon the wildly inappropriate pun)... but that makes me sad. I wonder how many people are still commenting on someone's wall, if they are really missing that person they can go and take a quick peek at their profile, their pictures... remember them.. I hope one day someone isn't counting on that little trip down memory lane and is shocked to find that all of a sudden it's gone.. all of it.. just like the person. it's a little security blanket for people that maybe makes it a little better, because they can always go back and look, leave a comment or something. stupid facebook. what a petty and insignificant thing, i'm sure people have plenty of other memories to look back on, but still. that one is always there, right at your fingertips... and who doesn't want the person's memory, at least, to last forever.
