This is the serious post.
To those team members that need to know what's on my mind: You know the speech I gave to you and you know how serious I took all of this. Although this may sound selfish, I am/was worried for my own job than the indecency of the whole situation. You know that I am the coach and most coaches at this school would have immediately thrown you two to the administration. Not gonna happen on my watch and mainly that's because one of you two means very much to me as a friend and a pseudo-daughter. THe other I have known for less time, but I do love you too. For the former, you've put in four years of hardwork in speech and that is the only reason you have afforded my kindness and respect in this particular situation. I do "forgive" you, if I am even so bold as to say I have the right to forgive you. I always forgive, but you are right that it is going to be very hard to forget. With that I have decided that alot of things are going to change for next year. There will be a mission statement issued and definitely a contract signed committing one's self to the team in every manner that deems respect. I guess some of this is my fault simply because I do preach a friendship/coach/love relationship on the team with everyone because, I feel it makes the team closer and more worthwhile to be on. However, the more I watch the way things should be and the type of attitude it takes to be the best and especially respected, I realize I need to be more serious, harsh, steadfast in my role as your head coach. In the future I hope all you Salpointer's that read this understand how serious I am about the respect I ask you to uphold on this team. To those of you who know what I am talking about, if you could, as a favor to me contain the spreading of any gossip, downloaded pictures, or anything else that pertains to the incident I am talking about, I would really appreciate it. I don't believe that either of these two little girls are portrayed the way we as a team know them. Thank you so much.
