The striking thing is how abomvubuso is clearly taken by the copied citations. The original author said, "LA Times blah blah blah..." and it's straight copied, which I guess makes it a citation. That's hilarious.
But of course, it does help show how the initial reaction was, of course, nothing like they're telling.
The truth would be more like, "I'm such a huge freaking idiot, I thought the copied citations meant that he was citing the source. But after realizing that, we just got rid of the thread."
Also, watching telemann take a couple comments to catch on that the cat was out of the bag was quite precious as well. That is the textbook definition of dumb-dumb.
I was honestly very confused before as to why telemann was freaking the fuck out when anosognosia and I dared to suggest that Carl Sagan might have been wrong about something during the Alexandrian Library fiasco. Now it just makes sense.
All telemann ever did was make other people's arguments, and if you disagreed, he'd just keep insisting that the person that made the argument made the argument unassailable.
I never really put any twos together about this whole thing. I knew telemann was mostly weak sauce regurgitation of stuff, I knew he never argued anything except to give other people's opinions... I just never really added up the numbers.
