Ive been really ecstatic about volunteering at the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office, but have now recently decided to cancel my plans of volunteering this summer and switch all my efforts into finding a second job. Since Lucinda, Anna and I are moving out in August I am gonna need extra cash for the security deposit for a new apartment.
Hopefully, by next quarter or soon after I will be volunteering at the Sheriff's office, but not until I get all my ducks in a row. The work I will be doing sounds awesome, such as participating in crime scene analysis, ride-along's, and checking criminals in and out of jail. Apparently, I will be able to engage in a internship there, where I can make $15 and hour doing data entry and get credit for school. I want to major in criminal justice, so this is a great way for me to get my foot in the door. Im going to have to take a polygraph test (lie-detector test) to be accepted, which I am slightly nervous about...
Anyways, I'm getting quite excited about moving out and getting a "fresh start" down in Bham. I'm glad Anna and I decided to move in together, I think that we both have close to the same living habits.
John Mayer was AWESOME! I'm really glad Anna asked me to go, I wouldn't trade it for the world. The scenery was breath-taking, when we first arrived it took a while for me to convince myself that it was real and not some painting. I REALLY want to go to another concert there, so if anyone is interested let me know.
