wheeeee!
I have a new theme song.
Different Drum.
Originally penned by Mike Nesmith (The Monkeys! Yes, some did have actual talent) and originally performed by Linda Ronstadt with the Stone Poneys. I bought (yes, I did...I like to pay performers for their work) a CD called "Under The Covers" (Vol 1)
by Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs. Great covers of 60's songs that hold up right well. I'm listening to The Kids Are Alright now. So kids, not that you read what I write...tell me the songs of your generation that you feel will hold up this well some 40 years later? Seriously, I'm interested.
I can't wait to write to Hang. This sounds a lot like some of the work he and Monika do together.
Oh, and those of you out there, like me...of a "certain age", what faves of yours would you like to see covered?
