Well, I was getting tired of mistyping the word peninsula...
but I can't type the words THANKS enough! Taking a half day off for a little R&R after the fete last night. It was perhaps, the most stellar HG Wednesday ever. Full of great music and lots and lots of friends, but we women didn't lose sight of what it is REALLY about...the HG WEDNESDAY GIRLS NIGHT and much silliness ensued on all our parts.
And I am pleased to announce that Ms. E made her official debut (which I will leave HER to post about) doing a abfab job in front of a non-poetic and mostly tipsy and noisy crowd. GREAT JOB, E! And she looked damn sassy too.
But, we won't lose sight of the fact that it was for a great cause. In the area, we had some minor competition, as Perkins Pancake House was also a sponsor...and rumor has it they may have had a clown.
Actually, we had a few. Including the drunken clown hairstylest (NOT our dear R) who was cutting the hairs and beards of even more drunken customers on the front deck. They ran an extension cord out of the restaurant for the dryer for crying out loud.
Like I said. Silliness. But as I thought, GREAT BIG FUN.
