Weekends
I suppose I should probably actually use this journal considering I did pay for it.
Weekends are actually getting good now. Previously the yo-cha-chin-ku and I could not find anywhere to go on weekends - Monterey is boring when you have no car and hate bars - and therefore they seemed almost as stressful as the weeks themselves. But for the last two weekends, we've gone over to a friends house, one who's married and is able to live off post. It's been great, we stay there all weekend, eat good food, play games of both the card and video variety, talk, watch movies. And the weekends feel so much longer as a result. My only complaint, I have a hard time getting enough sleep...
