Obligatory Pre-Doctor Who Post

I can't believe it's only one day until the new season begins! (Too bad it will only be for 7 weeks followed by a supposedly gut-wrenching cliffhanger and four months of hiatus. But hey! We'll have new episodes for awhile!) Although, the slight problem with them airing it on Easter weekend is that all my family will be over here wanting to talk to me and I will feel guilty for sneaking off to watch Doctor Who. I'll probably still do it, but I will feel guilty. -_- Despite having been horribly spoiled for the first episode since I can't keep my nose out of the news, I am horribly excited.

In the meantime, between this series and last, I have somehow managed to convert a gaggle of middle school girls into Whovians. (Or as my mom says, I have in-DOC-trinated them. Ha-ha.) It's really my younger sister who did that, although I was the one who introduced her to DW, so I suppose it was sort of a domino effect. They have been coming over to have sleepovers and holding Doctor Who marathons, to my great amusement and satisfaction. Although, most of them seem to prefer Eleven and Amy to any of the other Doctors and companions, so in my head when they are gushing about the new series I am going "But, but, but, what about RTD? Ten! Rose! Donna!" but I don't say anything because then I will sound cranky and like I can't move on. This must be what classic!Who fans feel like, lol. I feel old.

Anyway, another monumental thing I have done between series is to purchase new transportation. Voila:

I love this car. I have to love this car, because this was my major purchase this year instead of flying of to England to see a certain play (sob!) but it is pretty awesome all the same. It steers pretty well, actually has air conditioning (unlike my previous vehicle) and the stereo is first class. Also I am in love with the color. ;)

See you all tomorrow!
