The Pandorica Opens

That. Was. Awesome.

Whoever said there would be less at stake during Moffat's finale than in Davies' was wrong. Because that conclusion was just about up there with, "It's too late. I'm regenerating." Maybe even over that, to be honest, but I'm partial to Stolen Earth anyway because of the characters.

Still. This episode did remind me a bit of Stolen Earth, tbh... the Doctor's allies banding together to send him a warning (of course, it was all Moffat's characters vs. former companions) and the possibility of the Destruction of Reality Itself. I loved all the galaxies exploding at the end.

So... all the Doctor's greatest enemies formed an alliance to capture him and prevent him from destroying the universe. Supposedly he destroys the universe by crashing/exploding the TARDIS and creating the cracks. BUT if they prevent him from doing this, the cracks never will have existed, so how will they know to form an alliance in the first place? My head hurts.

Also, RORY. Except he's not really Rory. D: D: D: Seems the Autons have upgraded their ability to mimic humans since the fake-looking Mickey-bot from Rose. I almost wanted to cry when I realized it, because what if the actors were telling the truth and Rory really is dead, while Auton!Rory is someone's sick attempt at getting close to Amy? And he obviously succeeded, Auton!Rory shot Amy even though he really didn't want to, and... oh, my heart! This is awful. I am hoping somehow the Doctor is able to stop the cracks from ever forming, so Rory never dies and never gets erased from existence in the first place. If Rory and Amy don't survive this season together I will be very upset.

Oh, someone else to talk about... River. She went to Amy's house, something had been there, the same thing that set up the Stonehenge trap for the Doctor. And then the TARDIS started going wonky... why did River decide to blow it up? I really don't get what she did there at the end, blow up the TARDIS so she could get out? Or was it going to blow up anyway?

Anyway, I'm not really sure what just happened, but it was awesome. Just another episode of Doctor Who.

I can't wait to see what happens next week.
