First of all, this was probably the creepiest episode yet this season- exactly what you'd expect from Moffat. And it was very, very good... much better than the last episode, which pretty much only served as a reset button for the Daleks. The Weeping Angels were suitably scary... and now, not only can you not blink, you can't look in their eyes either. Or draw pictures of them, LOL.
That scene with Amy locked in the trailer was awesome, and left me wondering what was going to happen to her later on... creepy. Although I was disapointed when the Doctor burst in and told River to hug Amy, because he was busy. I wanted a hug moment. :(
In fact, I pretty much loved Amy this episode... except when she was going on about River being the Doctor's wife, which made my inner shipper hurt. And she didn't seem too upset about him being with someone else, which makes me think that "Ever fancy someone you shouldn't?" line last time was not refering to herself after all. Which is a bit of a relief, and yet... I think I would prefer Eleven/Amy to Eleven/River.
I am still not that fond of River, and was sort of pleased to find that so far the Doctor is not very fond of her either, and that the prospect of being in a relationship with her makes him grumpy. I think that, when they do get together, it will be when River is younger and less annoying, since she won't have all her superior future knowledge. I have a feeling the Doctor will be pleased to finally be the one in the know. XD
My favorite scene in this episode has to be when Amy believes her hand has frozen to stone and the Doctor refuses to leave her behind. Lovely interaction there, and very funny how he got her to realize she hadn't actually turned to stone. (Although I did wince a bit when Amy said she wasn't clingy, because I know that Moffat has described Rose that way. >_< I should never read interviews with him, since I like his episodes just fine as long as I don't think about think too hard about his personal opinions.) But other than that, Amy love all around.
And they had a character named, "Sacred Bob." LOL.
The preview for next time looks exciting, I can't wait for more!
