so anyways, yesterday my friend and i walked all around the national mall and visited a bunch of museums. we spent the most time at the hirshhorn and the national gallery. walking around DC was really fun; a lot moreso than lansing/east lansing. i dont really know why, but i think it's because all of the different kinds of people around and that all those people are not the same kind as in the college town i've been in for the past 4 years.
im getting sick of the late-teens/early-twenties crowd. i'd really like to find a crowd of mid-late twenties friends. hopefully they're hiding somewhere in the lansing area.
i think i've determined that i like the environment of big cities, though it is not someplace i'd like to live. Ideally i think living near a large city that i can visit frequently.
