Some people know already, others do not. I figured I'd post it here anyway just in case anyone is interested. February 10th (A Saturday) with doors opening at 6:00 PM, Dir en Grey is performing at the Nokia Theatre in Times Square. Tickets are only $30 for general admission.
Pre-sale tickets go up today at 5:00 PM. Otherwise tickets go on sale Thursday.
More information is here:
http://direngrey.tickets.musictoday.com/DirEnGrey/calendar.aspx You just have to sign up for the community, then sign in, then finally click on the venue you want to see and it should offer you to buy it (For pre-sales at least).
Right now I'm waiting for 5 to roll around so I can hopefully purchase a pre-sale ticket. Of course, this is going to cause me to get to dance appreciation late, but it's for a good cause :-)
Here's a little information from Corinne back at Rutgers:
"Information for purchasing presale tickets (online only) is now up at [
http://direngrey.tickets.musictoday.com/
DirEnGrey/calendar.aspx ]. You have to first register with Music Today, and then proceed to fill in the other information needed to register for the Dir en grey fan community. This will allow you access to the presale when the time comes. Most tickets, including NYC, go on sale at 5 pm Monday, November 13th. And again, I *highly* recommend that you buy you tickets at that time, if you are serious about going. The NYC show at Nokia Theater is at 7:30 and doors open at 6:00. The cost is $30.00 and note: this show it for ages 16+.
And also, the support band has been announced: Fair to Midland. Here is their myspace: [

Tremendous thanks to her for the information I somehow overlooked.
As Ingrid mention, the place is kind of weird for a show. If you want to check out the place here's the website:
www.nokiatheatrenyc.com Umm...I guess that's it. If anyone else is going let me know, maybe we can go together? :-D

To further prove my absent-mindedness, stupid me placed the wrong address on my ticket and bill shipping address. I wound up putting my home town and state on it twice. I sent them an e-mail about it and I'm going to *pray* that they can correct it and not make me have to cancel the order and do it again. The pre-sale tickets are sold out now also. And here's another unexpected surprise: I got hit with a handling fee and shipping fee. So the ticket went from $30 to $45... Ack... that was stupid of me to forget. This leaves me a little less than $20 in my account :-X I think I'm going to have to bother my parents and try to explain to them how I managed to spend $180 in less than two weeks...
Anyway, until another time, take care.
