Just checking in here for a bit. I really don't have much to say hence the inactivity for a while. Still, there are a few things I guess I can mention.
Umm classes this year aren't that bad. I'm taking 6 courses again since I need to do so in order to graduate on time. The classes are Japanese 401, Chinese Modern Literature, Dance Appreciation, Motivation and Emotion, Intro to Sociology, and Chinese Drama and Performing Arts.
They're not bad courses and I'm getting used to them. I do love my Dance Appreciation class. We don't dance in it, we just watch videos, live performances, etc etc. That's the great thing about appreciation classes you get to see about 6 shows a semester for a great price. I don't have to do any of the work of buying the ticket too so it's a nice treat. :-D
The downside to this semester would be the way my classes are scheduled, I'm not at the Red Lion until around 7:30 or later. I'm hardly there during the day which kind of sucks because by the time the night comes around our numbers have dwindled down to about 4 of us. It's all cool though.
I really need to give consideration as to if I'm going to apply for the JET program or not. What do you think Liz, do you think it's worth it and do you think I'll be able to manage out there if I were accepted?
Wilson bought this nify device that allows my computer to get cable television so I can watch TV on my computer. Also, I can play my ps2 and other concolse on it too! It makes Chase very happy :-D
There are many video games I want to play. I don't even know where to begin. There's Kingdom hearts 2, Zelda and the Twilight Princess, Final Fantasy 12, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Castlevanis: Symphony of the Night, among others. Also, almsot everyone in RLT had Nintendo DS' and I'm becoming tempted to buy one myself.
Another thing I've been wanting to buy is a new iPod. The new model is not only thinner, but they' come in black and have my GBs! I'm temted to give Amanda my old one and buy a new one since she's been wanting one for her own. Maybe Christmas?
Next weekend gonna go into the city and spend the weekend with Marissa. Woot.
Went Pumpkin picking with April and her family yesterday. The farm was kind of barren, but I had fun nonetheless :-D Yay for cider-flavored donuts. Those were delicious. Boo for Caramel apples. I should just stick with candied, they're much better :-D Also had my first experience with Dim sum after the farm. Umm.. it was interesting.. a new experience for sure. I can't say I really liked it though. If I was on my own without April's family there I would have been so stressed out by all of it. It was very chaotic, fast, and confusing. I think I kind of prefer the old-fashioned order your own separate dish through a menu technique. Within this experience I ate stomach lining also. That was not too fun. I had two bits of it and the texture was just really bothering me and I was having trouble getting myself to finish it. And then I found out what it was I was eating and to then I just put it down and stopped. Not so good I'm afraid :-\
Had bubbletea with Lauren (Aeva), Dan, and Kiera last night. It was great to see Lauren, and to meet the other wwo members of her family. They're good people. They made me smile and feel warm :-D Marissa, f you read this, Lauren would love for us all get together to chill one day if you'd like.
Lost seaon 3 is starting up in three days (October 4th). Unfortunately none of my friends watch it over here, but rest assured I'll be watching it. I'm very excited. :-D
Also so the first episode of "Heroes." It looks like it's going to be very fun and interesting. I'm awaiting for that next episode as well. That and Ugly Betty or whatever it's called that Michele and Jennlyn was telling me about that seemed funny.
Three exams I have to deal with this upcoming week. One on Tuesday, another on Thursday, and one more on Friday. Yea, it's going to suck and be stressing, but I hope I can manage.
I really wish Gackt would release something soon. I mean there's been plenty of news but no music which saddens me :-( Gackt will be returning to do the voice of Genesis in the Final Fantasy Crisis Core video game. That makes me smile since I want to know more about the character. Gackt is also releasing a 2007 calander. On it he's walking with three wolves which makes me curious what the other monthes look like and if I should buy the calander just so I can have the pictures after to hang up lol I'm also interested to hear more news about this band Gackt is forming with Yoshiki. This should be cool to watch occur.
Okay I swore i wasn't going to say much, but I've just babbled a half hour away. Anyway, I going to go and watch Ouran High School Host Club. Be back whenever. Peace.
