Hah! So this Sunday, Lestat on Broadway closes. I'm glad I got to see it before it closed. I'm glad it's closing. After having read both books the musical is based off of, I realize this musical never should have existed in the final form it did. It needed so much work and it was just impossible to salvage, even with 30 something days of previews. And now after I read the books there are s many things that annoy me about the musical. I completely understand adaptions are not going to be perfect, but they should have never attempted to make a musical out of 800 something pages. It was just not going to translate well. So good bye to you Lestat.
Today is the Lost season2 finale. I am impatiently counting down the hours.
Last night grabbed dinner with Laz and watched X-Men 1 to prep for the movie this Thursday night. Tonight after Lost I'll watch X-men 2. I've read three reviews about the movie. I'm not expecting it to top the second movie at all... and some people have said it doesn't top the first one either...but I guess we'll see. Despite that, nothing will dampen my excitement :-) Even if it sucks I'm be fine because I'm not expecting it to be that good. Still, I just want to see it already, digest it, and then complain about whatever after hahaha.
You know, I'm so behind on stuff. I just saw Cocco's first solo performance in 5 years today. Her live performance of Onsoku Punch. I love her so much. You can watch her here:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=3ugYlUVJB6o&search=Cocco You can just see how nervous she is in the beginning and how happy she is at the end. I felt so happy for her. I still feel happy haha. Cocco is the best!
Um I guess that's all. Tomorrow meeting up with Marissa, Liz, Laz, and his two friends tomorrow in Union Square for the midnight showing of X-Men 3. Frank will be joing us at 10 PM. I know, it's going to be so old school the 5 of us hanging out again. I'm very excited :-)
On the radio, they keep playing advertisements for the Lost season finale. Ugh, I can't wait! Anxiety!!!!!! Okay I'm going to watch Cocco again. Take care.
