(no subject)
You know, I left Red Lion two hours earlier today to get all my work done. Do you know what I got done? My translations for Japanese 302, picking my topic for the 302 oral report, and typing up the 302 vocab sheet.
What didn't I get done? My Pop culture response paper (Because I can't freaking think of what to write about), actually writing my 302 oral presentation, and getting my in-class scroll writing stuff together for Wednesday.
I'm absoltely dreading the scroll-writing assingment. It's worth 30% of my grade, will be done in class, and requires me to draw in these ridiculously large squares that I've never practiced in yet... oh and by the way, those squares aren't on the paper. I have one sheet with one square on it and I have to slip it under the scroll paper and try to see through it to write my characters. There are 14 characters, placed in two columns, a "written by" kanji in a third row with my name as well. So far my characters are 50/50. Some look good others need a lot of work. Ugh, I think I'm going to have to for go Red Lion tomorrow to concentrate on this.
Sometime this week I need to pick up a case of water, order Ningen Shikakku and Gal from Amazon.com (and hope it arrives before my finals), and other misc. things.
Saturday is Sakura Matsuri. Thursday is Peace Prize (my final play of the class).
Hopefully the money is deposited into my bank account before Wednesday because I need to pay my copy charge for Saito.
Anyway, I should go. I wasted enough time as it is. I'll try writing my thing tomorrow morning for pop culture. Maybe I'd be able to concentrate more then.
