Where's 'Blue'?

:::Essentially, this is a comment I made at Sithmagician's LJ. Something about TEOTIWAKI(guffaw along version) on account of the Large Hadron Collider.
I so must draw a 'toon on this, but honestly? Must. Complete. Cytoskel Project. FIRST!
(Agonisingly Drawn-out Demise version.) NB: 0:41 subliminal! XD--couldn't help including it, because of this. Also because it's the longer, fun'(n)er-er' version. 0:51: Image Needs Dinos! Not sure what 3:27 is, apart from ..undersea welding!? I'd like it to be some highly-technological, yet gritty dystopian future..you know the one I mean. :::

You wanna know how 'Planetary Slurpage by Micro, Heavy, *Hungry* Object' may go?

Now you is *too* can be reading 'Earth' by David Brin!

::Filk! To the ?tune? of 'There's a Dragon on the Cover of the Book'::

(There's a black hole in the mantle of the Earth!)x2
It's stable and very tiny, and we do not have much time-y
There's a black hole in the mantle of the Earth!
::Ok, stop the music now, folks, the filk is over!
...but the malady lingers on...::

But don't worry, I ha'ent spoiled it for you...

I can has copy, will be whoring it out. I get through it in just under a week...to six days, IIRC. 751 pages of 'Woah'. I find it to get a bit timesink-demanding towards the end. Rivets, you see. Other nuts and bolts are to be found in the theoretical description of Our Beloved Datasource, 'teh interwebs'.

Note the date of publication vs 'beta release of the internet'/time when it all took off.

Note that the Internet was still mostly only connecting uni-hackers to mil-databases.

Note the anticipation of the linking system, despite the different trackbacks and use of reputation (IIRC).
::This cut was working before, and one edit of something else in the text (non-adjacent) later...it is not. WTF!? Quantum entanglement in action!::Other concepts of yay: Helvetian War, Secrets Registration Archive, NorA ChuGa, Recyclopaths, (at least, that's what I call 'em.), Purchase-cost reflecting Environmental cost of $Product, 'Less Dependence on Petroleum' as a 'Way of Civilised Life': lighter-than-air, boat transport, mass cycleways.

Oh. And the tech. Sexy, *SEXY* technology. Hair thin audio surveillance devices, Tru-Vus (everyone walks around with a shoulder-mounted camera, audio pickups and a safe-house-separate data cache, not just the on-board recorder and live feeds to the internet)..

..beautiful, efficent Subvocals and holography.

::AtheistPraying:: Oh Lord, won't you build me a True-Vu and efficiently functioning Subvocal pickup microphone headset with osteo-induction 'ear'piece? I'll even settle for just the subvocal pickup. ::/Geeky Atheist::::/Non-secateur (Latin! XD) region::

I haven't read it for years, but love it dearly. (Yes, it started me on Brinwhoring.)

So; who wants some? Talk to my LJ-agent.

zombpocalypse, procrastin'-nation, warning! geekery!, brinwhoring, teotiwaki--great kiwi hero! *heart*
