10:26pm: I was going to say something, but I've forgotten what! Oh, yes I've just finished watching a new series through ABC iView. Very funny! :OD It's about strange stuff, paranormal, pyschics and whatnot. They had a dude who could drive blindfolded! I wonder how he managed that. Maybe an earpiece.
Still investigating smaller laptop choices, you can't get funky laptops with green covers these days, at least not from Dell, what's that all about?
I'm watching the news and the Greens are finally doing something about this terrible refugee bill that's close to going through. They've been very quiet lately, but they've finally got off the pot. Although having the Conservative party (who sided with the Greens on this case) sprouting lines onf 'being fair to refugees' is a bit much. They sent hundreds of people to a Pacific island and kept them there for years and years. Charming.
What a mess!

With the advent (and growing popularity) of eBooks, I’m seeing more and more articles about how much “better” they can be, because they have the option to be interactive … videos, music, glossaries … all sorts of little extra goodies to help “enhance” your reading experience, rather like listening to the Director’s commentary on a DVD of your favorite movie.
How do you feel about that possibility? Does it excite you in a cutting-edge kind of way? Or does it chill you to the bone because that’s not what reading is ABOUT?
Well, I hope they never get rid of the book, because nothing quite compares to having a physical source with pages to flick through! Even if it does have extra goodies. I don't mind them having an option for those who have e-readers and so on, but not supercede books!

Yes, well, sort of. One of them is about to end in a little over a week :O( the other is still going at least.
2. If you have a job, do you like it? If not, why not?
I love my ABC job! It sucks in the extreme that I wasn't asked to stay on. What a mess.
I like the Newsagency too, although all that standing up is rather uncomfortable.
3. Thinking about a new job, maybe? Why/why not?
Yes, because the Newsagency is only part-time and I really need something full-time. I hope I can get something soon!
Hmmm, I want cheese before bedtime, so I shall be off!
