11:20pm: I realised some hometruths today and like hart_on_sleeve I've made a list:
1. When something bad happens to your RP character this doesn't mean something bad has happened to you! Separate fact and fiction!
2. Step back take a deep breath.
Yes, I'm sorry to say I do believe I got a bit too involved in my fictional world! I hadn't felt so bad since I was writing my George III story and his father died! Man, was I an emotional wreck.
Anyway! I was rereading Capt John's LJ just now and I remembered something, I be in it for the LOLs, Capt John is above all else funny even in the face of adversity! I shall chalk up his recent behaviour then to precedent - I imagine when Jack dumped the Time Agency and by extension poor Capt John he was devasated, but only for so long before bouncing back. With nefarious schemes in mind for his ex-partner. Shan't be any of that this time 'round! And he shall be his merry self again! :OD
I got totally distracted from Capt John too by the realisation I messed up today's Hot Cross Bun selling at Church!
Before Mum left for her trip I agreed to help sell Hot Cross Buns for Palm Sunday (even though I think they should only be eaten on Good Friday).
But somehow I got my wires crossed and thought I was selling them at the evening mass. But it was supposed to be the morning mass! Now I got a message on my phone but because it's new I didn't realise it was a message coming in, I thought it was dinging to say the battery was full, do'h!
So yeah...major screw up there! I can't believe it slipped my mind as soon as Dad called up I remembered...ugh!
As a result, Mum had to rush to church after getting back from the airport and we got home too late to have a family dinner. In fact the family dinner went awry when I spazzed out on my big bro (who's back with us)...LOL this is typical...still sucks though.
Anywho, it's late! In fact considering my poor sleeping habits of last night I should be out for the count, so I will Meme and run!
Saturday Six
1. If money was tight, which of the following would you be most likely to give up: cable television, internet access or your cell phone?
Oh wow, what a choice...well sadly my first instinct is to say mobile phone, but I'd need that for work! The internet can also be an good tool, so...goodbye cable TV. I need to watch it less anyway.
2. Of that same list, which would be least willing to part with?
Internet, interneeet!
3. Your car dies: the only car you can afford, without going into serious debt, is a demo model that doesn’t have working air conditioning or heat. Assuming that it cannot be fixed (or that you can’t afford the repair, could you get by with that car?
I have got by with a car with no power steering or air conditioning...it was also a manual. That was most unpleasant, but it did get me around so, yeah. Nothing worse than been stuck in traffic when it's 30 degrees C and your wearing long pants (I didn't think it was that hot when I went out!)
4. If remote controls ceased to exist tomorrow, would you watch less television or about the same amount?
Probably the same, I got fingers and legs don't I!
