Book Avalanche!
11:03pm: Indeed so, it was the first day of normal operations back at the library so the books were coming in fast and furious, to say nothing of the ones that were in the overnight chute - apparently so many ended up in there a whole lot of them got crushed. Last I saw of them they were stacked underneath the returns desk in the hope they'd flatten themselves out again. I guess I'll find out how it worked out tomorrow afternoon.
I'm also relieved to report that my feet held up pretty well! Although the weather was a bit cooler today so I wore my pinstripe pants which meant that I could wear socks with my shoes and thus didn't have to worry about foot sweat. However, it's supposed to warm up a bit tomorrow soooo...
After finishing work I headed off to the Mall to get Mrs S's new towels and man was there a lot of them! They're the big fluffy kind so fortunately they weren't too heavy, but they were unweildy to carry and I had to wait for a while at the counter while the sales lady went looking for where they'd been set aside. It took so long actually that I began to worry they might not be there at all!
I also went looking at JB Hi-Fi about maybe getting a new Blu-Ray player, or maybe one of those aerial boxes that pick up TV through the net. But I decided not to purchase anything, since I still don't know if there's some other way to solve things with the TV and all.
I did end up buying the sunglasses that go over glasses from the Cancer Council so that was great! There weren't any green ones, but I got this cool purple leopard print ones. Niice. However, I discovered that the glasses case my Grandpa bought me is too small for them. Do'h!
Also, I forgot to bring the fifty bucks, better put that in my wallet or I might lose it in my room! :O/

1. Who was the last person that you held hands with? Umm...hmmm...I dunno...I don't really hold hands, I linked arms with my mother while we walked to see the New Year's Eve fireworks.
2. Are you loud, outgoing or shy? Loud fer sure!
3. Who are you looking forward to see? In the short term, my aunt and uncle in Canberra, I'm going on a trip down there with my parents later this month. :OD
4. Are you easy to get along with? Uh...depends if you can get past how loud I can be, LOL.
5. Have you ever given up on someone, only to let them back into your lives? Why? Hmmm...not that I can think of. Well, actually, I did briefly reconnect with a friend who turned out to be quite a liar...although none of the lies ever hurt me, but she disappeared from my life for good not long after that.
6. If you were ill, which TV doctor or nurse would you want to take care of you? None of them, because they're not qualified! But in all seriousness...Dr Mark Sloan from Diagnosis Murder, he's an awesome doctor. Hopefully though, I'll be a live patient! :OP
7. Does talking about sex make you uncomfortable? Nah, not with my friends, although I wouldn't want to talk about it with my grandparents or parental units!

9. What was the last text message you received about? Uh, I dunno...I'm using my phone right now and I don't want to close the game I'm playing! It was probably some discussion with my mother, about what, I don't know!
10. Do you believe in luck and/or miracles? Yeah, sort of, luck moreso than miracles.
11. What good thing happened this summer? Well it's only just started! But I'd say my brother, sister-in-law and little niece coming for a visit.
12. Convince us why we should or should not believe in life on other planets? Uh...I really don't know if I can! I suppose we haven't had any contact with anything yet and it seems like we would have by now.
13. Who was your first crush on? It was either Jonathan Firth (Colin Firth's brother) as Prince Consort Albert in Victoria & Albert or Jamie Bamber as Archie Kennedy in Hornblower, not sure which.
14. Favorite part of daily routine? Coming home and getting on the net! Which is a bit sad...
15. Do you like your neighbors? Haven't really met them, my landlords are cool though.
16. What’s your worst feature? I have belly fat...which is unfortunate as a woman because I kinda look pregnant. Damn pear-shapeness!

Oh crap, look at the time, almost midnight and I have to get up earlier than usual tomorrow! That's some fail on my part.
