Three Birthdays!
11:32pm: Yes indeed! Three of my friends have birthdays today! What are the chances? I think I've asked this before but I never did figure it out...or rather I never asked Google to figure it out for me because I sure as Hell can't do that.
Unfortunately, I'm not able to see any of them today so I've sent birthday wishes over Facebook, although one of them is in Sydney, they're nowhere near the suburb I'm in, and of the other two one's all the way over in Wales and the other Darwin.
Ah well, I hope they had a good day.
In other news, I'm getting to the end of the moving now, mostly I'm just taking things in bags now, except for the tapes, which I've had to put on the shelves I used to put my books on because I don't actually have a box/basket/tub to put them in at present. I did manage to fit the spare cases in the tub with the others so that's cool!
I've ended up putting my Christmas decos and the tub of winter clothes back in the walk-in wardrobe because those are going to M's place.
In the meantime, I've connected up the laptop with the Foxtel and I'm getting the programs I want to keep off it. Hopefully, I'll have enough time! Also, I'm relieved that I can use the HDMI and analogue input cable thingies at the same time so I can watch on the big screen. :O)
Also! Work at the library went very well today :O) I was even complimented for how I helped someone who was trying to figure out how to catch a bus using an app. Go me. However, I did manage to leave my water bottle behind, do'h! I put it down and told myself not to forget it...and I did.
And still no luck on the toilet brush front, although I can confirm Adli didn't sell a matching toilet brush. As for Target well, I did see a possibility there, although it's still 25 bucks. Gee maybe I should just buy it...or resign myself to getting a cheapass white plastic one.
And having seen the time I've realised I better haul ass! I have to take all the bags and shredded stuff downstairs before I head off to work tomorrow, so I have to be ready to face the day!
Speaking of the shredder, I thought I'd broken it at one point by sticking too much in it, but once it cooled down it started going again, so thank God, I won't have to buy a new one!
