10:21pm: First of all, as typical I managed to oversleep this morning and beyond that it was drizzly today, so I pretty much stay at home. I got all my laundry done so that's good! Although, I'm not sure if it will dry by tomorrow...I sure hope so.
I also worked on my Plushy Plushy! I have a head! But I think I must have measured wrong or something because I've made two bodies to go with it and they're both absolutely tiny I mean it's a chibi style doll pattern, but the tininess of bodies is ridiculous! Of course now I've just got a head sitting around which is really a little creepy. Although I'm kind of proud of it so maybe I'll put a picture up for all of you to go "Aaaargh!" at.
But yeah, I have to figure out how to make a bigger body...good think I got like a whole 2 square metres of black statin. Maybe the fabric is the problem? You do have to make the hem rather large because of the fraying, hmm, will have to consider this. Also, do I want the arms separate? Because it's a pain in the ass to sew them on. Also the sequins are too big, boo! I'll probably have to return those, because quite honestly I'm not entirely sure how to sew them on without the thread showing.
Anyway, I won't go on because my mother wants to come over and spend the night tomorrow so she can watch the rugby on Foxtel which means I have to make sure the place is clean and neat for her arrival!
Before I get down to some spot cleaning before bed though...Memes!

Letters
Different kind of reading … what do you think about letters? Do you ever send them anymore? Receive them? Or do you just do email and texts instead? Do you miss the days when people used to write letters?
I used to send letters to a family friend David, sadly he died some years ago, so that ended. Also I used to write to my first best friend when I first moved from Dubbo, but I stopped doing that fifteen years ago now! (Shit, I'm old!)
Hmm, as for whether I miss writing and receiving letters, I don't really think about it, although it is nice to get a letter in the mail no doubt about that!

Friday's Question
18/7/2014
When did you get your first digital camera? Do you still shoot on actual film, or all digital now?
Hmmm, well it was a long time ago now! I was probably around 17 or something? And got it from my father - it was his old camera, I still have the green case he gave me to go with it. :O)
And now a days I'm all digital, although I did recently find some old film photos from Bali. They weren't bad. But film is hard to get now and expensive to develop!

4. There are a lot of stylistic or slangy ways to say “zero.” Which are your favorite? I do enjoy 'zip', LOL.

The (Other) Friday Five
25/7/2014
1. Have you ever gone camping? Yes, but only for school camps.
2. Do you prefer to rough it or do you prefer some comforts? Only one of those involved actual tents and let me just say I prefer cabins!
3. What is your favorite meal to prepare ‘in the wild’? Uh...dunno, hot dogs?
4. Where was your camp site (by a lake, in the mountains, etc.)? Depended, mostly on a ranch, although there was one memorable "camp" that took place in the suburbs...I still got homesick though!
5. Million dollar question - did you have fun? Eh, mostly? Although Year 12 Camp was the only one where I had fun all the time through.
Right...maybe I'll just post my plushy progress on Tumblr, since you know that's where its at and I might as well use my Tumblr for something.
For now though, I must be off, I also need to make my bed before I got to sleep!
So I know bid you all goodnight!
