10:32pm: It's an exciting moment for fans of Fed-Ex, he's about to step out onto the Wimbledon Centre Court with the aim to win for the 8th time! If he manages it'll make history! :OD Fingers and toes crossed! I love the Fed! :OD
And on SBS Le Tour continues and man are the crowds out in force! You usually don't see this many people on either side of the road until they get into the mountains in the second or third week! Whoa! Although sadly for the Yorkshire/British crowd Mark Cavendish had a really bad fall yesterday, broke his collarbone and is out of the race. Although I discovered from my mother Cadel Evans isn't there this year, awww, shame. I don't think us Aussie have anyone else who could get in the yellow jersey, although apparently we do have a guy who's good at sprinting.
Ha, ha, I'm rather amused that I just wrote two paragraphs on sport! But I'm particular about my sports, I like my pelotons and tennis whites. :O)
In other news, the Granny Flat is looking in tip-top shape because I cleaned it up for my mother's visit. She came to watch a Rugby match mostly though so there wasn't much hanging out. Still, she bought over the green lamps that used to be in the upstairs bedroom of their house, so that was nice. Although now I have nowhere to plug in my mobile phone next to my bed, hmm might need a double adapter or something.
Hmm, seems Fed-Ex and the Joker (Djokovic) won't be walking out for another twenty minutes, so moving right along, let's do some Memes!

1. Z is for ZEPPOLE: When buying a dozen doughnuts, do you prefer them hot, cold or room temperature? I've never bought a dozen donuts - dude that's a lot for one person! - but I prefer them nice and freshly made and therefore warm! Yum!
2. Z is for ZITI: What's your favourite Italian dish? Oh, that's a really tough one, but I'm gonna say...lasagna. Oh yeeeah, love it!
3. Z is for ZOO: Which animal do you enjoy watching at the zoo? I like watching all of them actually! But the monkeys/apes/gorillas/chimpanzees are always good for a laugh.
4. Z is for ZOOLOGIST: Which animal would you most care fear trying to take care of if you worked at a zoo? Well, all of them can be quite dangerous, but I'd be leery of the tigers, those teeth!

2. Favorite Founding Father? Alexander Hamilton was quite hot at least from what I saw on Wikipedia, so I'll say him, LOL. Oh there was also the duelling thing, which was pretty cool.
3. Favorite president? Can't go past Obama, you go, Obama! (Except for the drone thing...wtf is that?)
4. Biggest "Patriotic Moment"? Uh? N/A
5. Favorite patriotic song? For the US? Well, I do like the Beach Boys Surfing USA, even if they can't pronounce Narrabean.
6. Favorite American cuisine? I do enjoy a nice hot dog, yum!
7. Happiest political moment of your life? I was pretty damn happy when Kevin Rudd won the Aussie 2007 election.
8. Best fireworks display you've ever seen? Can't go past Sydney's New Year's Eve fireworks, best fireworks around, all others pale in comparison!
9. America's gift to the world? Er...good TV/cinema? :OP
10. Favorite Bill of Rights right? That 19th Amendment - or whichever one granted equal rights to African-Americans was very good indeed.
11. Favorite American Holiday? Did Labour Day start as a US thing? If so, that one. :OP
12. Favorite D.C. monument? I don't know of that many, the Washington Monument is quite nice.

Although I do need to get into the city at some point for the ice skating! Must see if any of my friends want to come along.
For now though, I shall be off to watch the Wimbledon Final/Tour and finish up a cover letter for a job that closes tomorrow morning! Wish me luck!
