I promise not to make this an exceptionally awkward project - if one should call it that. I know I'm not too ken on sharing personal details myself, so I can't expect anyone else to be too thrilled with the idea. I can also promise that you won't be receiving a horrid gift. I know you're a girl of taste and wouldn't want something ugly or meaningless for a gift.
Anyway, I was summing up my day in my journal and got to the reminder telling me to write to you. I'd had quite a relaxing day, which made made me wonder how your day was. So, I thought I would start this project off simply:
