i set a goal of 12 books and i'm about to finish #21 :)

i think i'm going to aim for 25 in the new year.

i recently read "thistlefoot" by gennarose nethercott and loved it! modern fiction meets folklore.

i wanted to read more than 21 books this year i just checked my goodreads and i counted 24 i thought i read less lol. I just finished reading killers of the flower moon, i think it might be one of my favorite reads this year.

I had completely forgotten about my goal to read one book every month until I saw your comment. :-X

Books that I did read this year that I'd recommend: "The Scientist: A Metaphysical Autobiography" by John C. Lilly; and "Unruly Desires: American Sailors And Homosexualities In The Age Of Sail" by William Benemann. They can be quite dry at times-- particularly Benemann's book-- but I found their topics to be interesting enough to continue reading to the end.

that gay sailor one sounds really interesting! i like nonfiction so i don't mind a bit of dryness here and there. thanks for the recs :)
