I am under a bit of stress. This is what I like to imagine:
I am in a small, two-person canoe. We are rowing down a peaceful, quiet stream in a forest.
The leaves rustle in the trees. The sun is shining, but the foliage covers us. The sun is not too bright and the forest is not too dark.
No one can see us, and there are no threats. There are no animals or bugs that will hurt us.
The air smells of greenery and the air whispers with the lap, lap of the waves against the side of the canoe.
We are alone, but not lonely. We are not hungry, or tired, or any unpleasant emotion. We have done our best and helped others, and now it is time to relax, away from the busy world.
We are at peace, and happy.
I hope imagining this helps you relax, too.
