Only one more year of this crap
Well, I failed my math final... but on the bright side summer is here. Time to skip in the fields and go to the beach almost every single day ^.^~ Or not... because I live an hour from the beach and the gas prices are pretty scary looking. @_@
Looking back, I did pretty bad this year in terms of grades from previous years. Procrastination finally caught up with me. -_- But I tried my hardest too, and still, I didn't get the grades I wanted. There were several missed opportunities this year but I think I made the most out of it without draining myself. I mean, I went to Japan and Washington DC which were both some of the most mind blowing experiences I ever had. I also volunteered more this year than any other year in high school and I got together with my friends for some pretty wild times (Whoo... Mormons gone wild truth or dare... dare! take off your left sock!) I'll also never forget having the most hyper active seniors in my first class of the day.
I'm going to graduation for the first time in years. My boyfriend is graduating (I'm so proud of him) and a lot of my friends. I made friends with half of them by being in a Japanese class above my grade level... though I was just there because I had taken the class two years in middle school already and I'm hardly getting better with the language (but the internet has helped).
I don't know what Senior year will be like. I'll have a couple college courses for dual credit and some art courses (because I missed taking them my Junior year). I'll also have a big ass Senior project to do and I'm dreading that. To sum this year up I would say that I got a little closer to my class. Some of us have been together since elementary school and we've had our up times and down times. I'm just glad I could share in that with everyone.
