accidental discoverys on Hastings St.
Tonight we went out for dinner. Nicole had been shopping at IKEA with Breana, Felix, & Van, and I’d been playing dnd all day. Things had run past time for me-by about 3 hours. We really didn’t have time to come home and make dinner, so we were looking for something on the way. When we dropped of Felix, we were recommended by the Martin’O’Coffees to an Mexican restaurant close by called El Barrio.
They have live jazz music on Sunday night! The server messed up the guacamole for Breana by spicing it-came back quickly, then Nicole’s Mole was dropped… and despite that, it was still the best meal I’ve had out since my wedding night. The food was great, the music was intimate and everyone loved our little daughter grooving with the music. We had an absolute blast.
