It's been a while

I guess I'll give you all an update.

Before I do, I have a question...Do you recon that Magic Johnson found a cure for HIV? That dude has got to be the healthiest/longest living HIV patient I've ever heard of.

Things at DC3 are better than ever. I've got tons of projects, which is very stressful... However, I love the work. I love my job. I love my co-workers. I move out of my Baltimore pad in about a month. I'll be moving closer to work (4.1 miles away). It's a little more expensive, but it'll save me tons in gas money. I'm going to see if I can find a bike path from my new apt to work. To my friends that I haven't talked to in a while, I apologize. I've been...very very busy. I start classes on 5 Sept. I'm only taking 9 credit hrs this semester. Project Management I, History of Terrorism, and College Algebra. That's right, I'm just now getting my Math 101... Well, it's Math 131 here. Actually, my school University of Maryland University College doesn't offer the course at a time that fits my work/class schedule so I'm enrolled at Anne Arundel Community College too...just for the Math class. I'll be finishing my Associates Degree in Information Technology with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) this semester. Oh yeah, I'll be a lot closer to my college campuses at my new apartment. I'm applying for my commissioning program again this year. If I get it, I'll be back at Tech next year. I think I have an EXCELLENT chance, but if I DON'T get it I'll just finish my degree here at UMUC. That'd still leave Officer Training School (OTS) open to me. For those of you who have flexible schedules...my promotion ceremony is going to be Sept 21 (not the 22 as previously expected). Please come up if you can. I'll take you all around Baltimore and DC... I'll be attending the 2006 Techno Forensics Conference in Gaithersburg, Maryland 06-08 November. It's hosted by the Institute of Computer Forensic Professionals, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and the US Secret Service. Should be fun. Also, I'll definitely be attending and probably briefing (accepted presentations will be announced this month) at the 2007 Annual Department of Defense Cyber Crime Conference in St. Louis in January. Hopefully I'll get to see Aarthi while I'm there. That'd definitely be cooler than your face. I definitely cannot come home for Thanksgiving, and I probably won't be able to come home for Christmas. Again, if any of you feel up to a trip...come up to celebrate the holidays with me.

I miss you all. Take care, folks.

Cheers,

C. Robinson
