perhaps an improvement, though not good news, it seems that an old friend of mine has managed to get himself both arrested and shot in the leg, by his father. Now I say this is an improvement because given my current run of things it's a bloody miracle he wasn't killed, but really, startling things are happening to aquaintences of mine, and it is certainly a disturbing trend.
