I, like several people before me, find it disconcerting how few comments this fic has. That being said, I only found this story today on my recent venture into Star Trek fandom, and thus far am enjoying it immensely.
In a way, I'm glad this wasn't the first fic I found in this fandom, only because previous stories have given me enough background on TOS to fully appreciate the undertones of chapters like this.
On a final note, your ability to convey so much insight and nuance, especially from an IC Spock's POV, in so few words completely astounds me. The amount of thought and effort into the details, especially the science and logic and blend of Spock humor, has me constantly flailing.
