I always find it amazing
When you leave me poems (English, Italian)
This looks like a mix, though I don't know enough Italian to say for certain... some things look Latin (how do I know?)...

You really like this artist, I've noticed.

Yes, I do, as he's among the very few who make medieval music in the XX and XXI century, and I love anachronism, as I seldom seem to feel at ease in my own timeline.
However, as far as I know, the original inspiration for the song was actually Eco's discussion of "La lingua perfetta", a perfect language, both in his essay and in the novel later filmed by Annaud. I read in Van der Post's "Yet being someone other" that the ancient Bushman language is said to be understood by all living beings --and then he gives an impressive instance when he directly witnessed the phenomenon.

Also, yes, you got the Latin (your intuition is keen) and there is also a very little Greek, transliterated in Roman characters.
Now, I still long to know what the Russian parts are saying...

OMG thank you so much! I was kind of hoping that you'd pop by and do this. I'll repost an edited version asap (I wrote that last night.... avoiding doing other really necessary things)..

How you are? I haven't seen you around on LJ, I think. Not that I'm on much either...

Oh, могу means "to be able to" in Russian. Essentially poder. No references to death. I was writing this, and I realized that I'm much more comfortable with Russian (what little I've studied) than Spanish. I've lost a lot of my Spanish, which makes me-- I should try and keep it up.

I'm so sorry to hear that.

As for betaing your work-- I'll be happy to. I'm a little busy at the moment, but if you send it to me, I'll try to get it back to you as soon as possible. Send me a message and I'll send you my email.
