The first period nearly destroyed me, but the Wings totally pulled it out. I was worried after the first - the PK was NICE (though done too often), but then Datsyuk slipped a little present behind Bryzgalov and Bertuzzi decided to start a fight and BAM - the Wings remembered to bring the intensity.
Good game after that. The crowd at the Joe was awesome. First time I've ever heard them cheer a player who's not a goalie or Stevie Y, but they started a 'Todd Bertuzzi' AND a 'Johan Franzen' chant going. Apparently Jiri Hudler was too hard, but man, that was a pretty little shot from Happy.
I worry though cause I totally ate nachos and brownies for dinner, and if I gotta do this for the rest of the playoffs to avoid the jinxing, I'm not gonna be in hockey training shape come summer.
