No, seriously, I almost never get lost...
So I got lost on the way home from work today. I feel the need to clarify at this point that I live about 2 miles from work. It's not like it's a horrific drive by any means. But there I was happily turning into a random office park and then it being dark and there being no street lights, there was me unable to find her way out again. Yeah. Impressive move, Emily.
I had another realisation today. And that is that I'm turning into my mother. No, seriously. I bought lunches for the week last night, and it was until I got to work and was ready to eat that I realised I had unconsciously bought the same lunch that my mom brings to work every day. Lowfat yogurt, pretzels, and baby carrots. Very, very weird. Good lunch though. And it's in parts so I can spread it out over the day instead of scarfing at 11 when my morning bowl of oatmeal wears off. But yeah. Apparently lunch is passed through the genes?
