Texas cave in the news - I've been in it

It really is so narrow at some points that if you're crawling on your belly with your arms in front of you, there's not even enough room to move them down to your side. I had some trouble getting up a wet incline on the way back out, it took a while.

I'd first heard about the cave in the book for Linklater's Slacker movie, in which one of the actors said they'd been "through" the whole cave, though AFAIK there's only one entrance.

After we'd been in it (it should have been before), I had my friend find a map of the cave in UT Austin's libraries. It's amazingly long, and goes under the highways. There's some promising-sounding features very far in, but I can't imagine how long it would take to get to them. I think you'd have to sleep in the cave!
