Strike 3! You're out!

I'm kind of frustrated--a lot frustrated actually, but I don't want to act on it cause it's just too tiring.

In these last couple of months I've spoken with three clients, which are normally great odds, except they've all left me in the lurch. Fab. It must be open season for deserter clients or something. And that's really the worst part of it, that they don't bother to let you know that they've changed their mind or whatever-the-hell they decided to do. It's just common courtesy, you know? Nobody likes to get stood up, and in this case especially. I mean we all have better things to do, don't we?

But let's try putting a positive spin on it, chalk it up to experience, what did you learn?
Deserter client #1 taught me (you know the one): for the love of God, down payment first.
Deserter client #2 taught me: be careful, warning signs are there for a reason.
And deserter client #3? Be attentive... I guess.

Yeah, that really doesn't take the sting out. Probably because I don't mean it... maybe just a little. Still, that's what better people do, right? Or maybe just optimistic people. Tell you what though, client #2, I'm not so much pissed as I am concerned. It's more a mystery than anything.

If the FBI comes looking for me, please tell them I'm not a pedophile.
