A little bonding over shopping
is not neccessarily a girl thing.
I went out today. Our class did. A little adventure to the cheap-o-shopping capital, in our not-so-epic-quest for fabric. Yes fabric. For our costume design final project. Yeah. Our teacher gave us the low-down on the places to look. Picked up some swatches for the time being. It was hot. We got sweaty and sticky and it was--to a point--draining. But I knew that this was only to be the beginning of many a long exhausting things to do, for us. We plan on going back there for some serious buying in the near future.
It was fun though. Pretty fun. Fun enough.
Fun 'cause we were together.
Fun 'cause we had some laughs.
Most of which were had in the car on the way there and on the way back. Yes, apparently most if not all of us have a certain fear of getting lost so we thought it best we travelled as a pack. We'll probably go back there as a pack as well. Albeit a littler pack probably. It's funny we haven't gotten tired of each other.
Over the years I've come to have proven that boys like to talk. You just have to ask the right questions.
