You know what I hate??

Parents who think they can intimidate me and get their way just by saying that they'll talk to the principal about an issue.

[blink]

Oooo... scary. Bite me.

I usually reply, "No bother. I'll talk to the principal for you." It's like they want to run and tattle to Mommy about me. Give me a stinking BREAK, moron.

I have a parent like that, I offered to walk her over to the principal's office with her. LOL

Yea, 'cause I'm doing something bad to jeopardize my career because of your little brat...I mean darling child.

I want to smack this mom. She really hates us and wants us fired. I so want to ask her what makes her think anyone that replaces ME would be better?!?

People think if they pitch a big enough fit they'll get what they want. It's just amazing how many of our customers turn out to be lawyers or engineers when they're pissed! *snort* (One guy told Christina he was a lawyer and threatened to sue us - as so many of them do - and then during the course of conversation admitted he owns a baseball bat company. Bit of a difference there, sparky!)

It would seem like quite a few parents and students are taking this time to give you trouble! lol So many psychos in only one school?!

I guess that I had it coming, since this is the first instance in my 6 years so far. I guess I was due! :P

Give 'em h-e-double hockey sticks! I heard a story today about a music teacher here in WI complaining about having to work extra hours for her kids' concert. I thought of all your stories and all the extra work you put in for your students. And this lazy bones was complaining about working at night for ONE concert!

I do get a stipend for the extra time, so I guess I can't complain too much. The thing that gets me is when people think that all I do is sit in my room and sing Kum By Yah or something. It's seriously a running joke with the music teachers in my district. :P
