Love and Detox

So, I just want to say that I love active conversations about difficult things. I love the brains of all of these people.

I am not to happy about the downward turn in class that has happened, but admire the counter attack of positivity.

Being a diverse and international community is hard.

Enough about you, let's talk about me.

I started a detox today. This is the second time I have done this one. It's not a master cleanse or anything based on some form of starvation. I have eliminated Meat (except fish), sugar, cow's milk, wheat, salt, caffeine, cigarettes, and alcohol. Yikes. I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, fish and brown rice.

Today was the first day. So far, so good. The cranberries we got for the oatmeal are terrible. I think they are freeze dried or something. Cranberry Fail. Lunch is a big salad with avocado, red peppers, cucumber, sugar snap peas, onion, egg, sheep's milk feta and herb greens. I can't have most dressings, so I used oil, vinegar, lemon and pepper. YUM.

I am still a little sick and hoping that this knocks the rest of the nasty out of my system as well as all the natural good it does for my system.
