Victor lay on his bed, playing Royal Hearts and munching on some Funyuns. It was the weekend, so he figured he'd just sit back and relax for a while today. His door was cracked open a little, if anyone cared.

Walter stopped by Victor's room, pushing the cracked door open and peeking in to smile at his boyfriend. "Hey." It felt like forever since they'd seen each other last.

"Hey!" Victor replied, pausing the game and getting up to give his boyfriend a kiss. "How've you been?"

"Things have been a little weird." Walter kissed him back and put his arms around him. "I kind of needed to let you know before you heard the radio and started to wonder."

Victor snorted. "Fandom is weird. But what's going on?"

Truth be told, he hadn't been paying a lot of attention to the radio lately. He'd been too busy trying to beat Royal Hearts so he could start on the sequel, and had kind of shut hmself up in his room over the past few days. He gave Walter a concerned look, and hoped that he hadn't missed anything too bad.

"Fandom is weird, but this is bad weird." He closed his eyes and leaned his forehead against Victor's. "I just need to make sure you hear this from me, and not from gossip or the radio. Nadia has some really bad things going on that aren't mine to talk about. I promise you I'll tell you about it when I can, but you're going to have to trust me when you hear that I'm spending a lot of time with her that I'm not doing anything that's meant to come between you and me."

[ooc: I answered a couple of hours ago just as I was finally about to go to sleep for the night so I forgot to express my glee at seeing you. *glees*]

Victor sighed and wrapped his arms around Walter. They'd already gone through something like this before, and Victor was happy to find that his first instinct was to trust Walter completely. "I love you, and you love me. If you need my help with anything, just ask and it's yours, okay?"

This was one of the reasons he loved Victor so much. "Thank you," he said, greatly relieved. "What I could use right now is some time with my boyfriend."

"You got it." He smiled and gave Walter a kiss, then jerked a thumb to the bed. "Wanna watch me play? Or do you wanna do something else?"

"Watching you play would be just what the doctor ordered as long as it includes you, me, and a bed."
