Money, Money, Money

Dan told me that he'd like to start sharing his commissions with me since I'm licensed now. He said $400 a month to start. Which is freakin' amazing, considering my rent will be $500. ::dances around the room:: On top of that, I'm making about $200 a month working for Rick. So, I've got a budget in place that involves me paying off my credit cards in the next year without putting all of my extra cash toward that. And then I can concentrate on paying off my student loan and my car. And then I'll be debt free! And when I'm debt free, I want to start putting money into a brokerage account to buy some stocks that I like. I figured that if I'm a hop, skip, and a jump from being a registered investment advisor, I sure as hell should be able to manage my own finances.

Eric (the guy from Pittsburgh I briefly mentioned) is... interesting. I'm being reserved about him because I don't want to get too involved at this point. However, I do like him. And I think it's safe to say he likes me. Any relationship would involve a yin/yang aspect since we're quite different. So, we'll see. He's still sticking to his promise to visit me around Halloween. I will say that I enjoy talking to him and am not intimidated or nervous, but at the same time find him very attractive.

work, guys
