I love my job. I'm so happy I lucked into it.
Louie is an attorney who does side work (trusts, wills, etc) for our clients on his day off, which is Monday. He came in this morning and gave me a box of Swiss chocolates from the
yummy local store. How sweet is that? No, don't read into it. He's in his early 60s, though I don't think he's married. He's just very nice and gave me the chocolates as thanks for my witnessing wills for him.
I'm in the midst of cramming a 700-page text into my head. My notes fill five legal pads, and I'm trying to review all of them before I begin taking practice exams. When I schedule the real exam depends on how I do on about three different practice exams. I need to get this out of the way before I move in October.
Speaking of moving, I faxed over my resident application to the apartment management company. I'm forwarding the application fee tomorrow.
Eff the heat. I wish it was fall already.
