Test Tube Meat and a Meme

This vegetarian says she'll pass on the test tube meat. I love that they are making strides in creating it, but I would just be super freaked to eat meat of any kind. It's all rotting flesh to me. Eww.

There are about 150 more pages of Stephen King's Under the Dome left, and I still lurv it. If you're contemplating a read, then I highly rec it

I'm just reading a book called In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. He talks about how much non-food we eat and how evil the Western Diet is. Not necessarily vegetarian in outlook, but certainly espousing eating whole foods and buying locally produced, organic stuff. You are what you eat.

I have a similar book called Eat to Live. I *want* to eat healthy things, but all the cookies and cakes and Doritos sing my song.
