This midterm on terrorism is devouring my life. At least it's interesting to write.
I wish I could devote more time to my visual culture class. I have so many ideas for my sketchbook but not enough time to put them all down. That's really frustrating. Especially since Prof. Chen is looking over our sketchbooks as a midterm check up on Monday.
I decided I'm going to write a letter to my great Aunt Annie and ask her some questions about her life growing up as the daughter of Armenian immigrants. My dad doesn't know much about his mother's younger life, so I don't know anything about it. So I'm really excited to find out about everything.
Mmm...I just finished a bowl of Oh's, the greatest cereal invented by mankind.
Yesterday Bosko got kicked in the head by Barry. It was really scary, my mom was terrified. But he's ok. He just has a big gash by the side of his eye. I'm so glad he's ok. He's the best dog ever. My mom is freaking out now because Bosko is being trialed at a dog show in TWO weeks and then this has to happen. Silly dog, he's been asking for a kick. Hopefully everything will work out in the end.
Katie is coming up on Thursday night. I'm really excited. But I'm even more excited for our sleepover at Emily's. Yeeess!
I'm cooking a feast on Thursday for family dinner. I'm making dolma (stuffed green peppers and tomatoes), tabouli, and fried pitas. If there's a miracle and I have more time I'm going to make Khoorabia (Armenian butter cookies). All of this is to be served with guava and mango juices. My mouth is watering.
I'm going to go refill my bowl. Dang Oh's are too tasty.
